This hard shell is not that bad but it's really hard to open the phone when you have it in the shell. -- ok
I have to disagree with people who do not like this case. I not only have had mine for 2 years, I have recommended them to 3 other people who also love them.
As far as opening the cases to charge or change batteries, the first time or so is a bit tough, but after that it is not hard and you don't want it (i don't anyway) to come apart easily. I have accidently, dropped my phone and this case is EXCELLENT!!! many people complement and few have this and still love it, like me.

Great for protection and light weight, not bulky. It is hard to pull apart for those timely battery pull resets. -- Good but hard to open
