This is a durable and functional case. The magnetic proximity sensor tells the BlackBerry when you've put it away so it can automatically switch off the screen and preserve battery life. I like the swivel clip, but that also seems to be its weak point. That is the part that broke on my last one. I looked at dozens of different designs and configurations for my Blackberry Curve, but this standard case fits my needs the best. -- Blackberry swivel holster fits my needs
This case is made of plastic. Be aware that the clip is not detachable, although it is advertised as detachable in some places. The swivel works very well, but is subject to damage if it gets caught on something. The magnetic flap is a great feature that I like very much.
I have owned several of these holders and prefer and recommend the leather version instead for only a few dollars more. It has a better feel and look. The clip is exactly the same.
